Remembering you,
its all i can do.
All i have with me—
of the two of us—is a memory.

You were there
at the right time
when i was falling apart;

and you filled my heart.

In those secret corners,
you never left my side.
In my darkest of hours,
you were my guiding light.

Remembering you,
the way you are to me..
how you gave yourself
selflessly and wholly.

At times I’d break your heart,
tear you to pieces..
until you fall apart.
But i’d still feel your kisses.
You never left my side,
you never let go.

To the inevitable, I lost you.
No words can make you hold on,
no love can make you stay.
Still, you promised not to go away..
